‘The country music family lost Naomi Judd yesterday and I think it was just my heart. And I know everybody’s heart goes out to the Judd family,’ Luke said.

The singer’s daughters Wynona and Ashley issued a statement saying they ‘lost their beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness’ and attended the induction ceremony together on Sunday for The Judds.

The mother-daughter performers scored 14 No. 1 songs in a career that spanned nearly three decades.

After rising to the top of country music, they called it quits in 1991 after doctors diagnosed Naomi with hepatitis.
