WITH the dry summer time the UK has had, some timber are already shedding their leaves. To me, meaning one factor: leaf mould. This unappealingly named substance, made by gathering autumn leaves and letting them rot for a 12 months or two, can be utilized as a rising medium and soil improver and is simpler to make than backyard compost.
