- The guy who leaked the alleged Pixel Watch prototype has posted more photos of the device.
- We can now see how the Google smartwatch might look on the wrist.
- The leaker says it’s a “gorgeous and comfortable watch.”
An alleged prototype of the Pixel Watch was bizarrely found abandoned in a Chicago restaurant this weekend. Since then, the person who found it has revealed a bunch of information about the wearable that Google could make official in the next few weeks. We had seen only the dial of the watch all this time, but today we get to see the device in all its glory, complete with a band. Moreover, we also get to see how it could look on the wrist as the leaker has posted some shots of himself wearing it.
A 20mm soft silicone band is attached to the so-called Pixel Watch. The leaker says it’s a good fit with the device and doesn’t show fingerprints or oiliness. He notes it was “kind of a pain” to attach the band to the watch, but it’s “extremely secure.” He then goes on to describe how the watch feels on his wrist.
“It feels much thinner than the measurements would lead you to believe. Compared to my Galaxy Watch, this feels like it’s not even there. And, big plus, the crown does NOT poke into the back of my hand when bending my wrist back or typing, which is something that drives me nuts on other watches,” the leaker wrote in his Reddit post.
What do you think of the leaked Pixel Watch design?
The Redditor concludes by saying that in his opinion, “this is without a doubt a gorgeous and comfortable watch.” Of course, this is one person’s experience, and you may feel differently if and when you get the Pixel Watch for yourself. However, things are looking positive for now, and the alleged device indeed looks pretty sleek on the hand. What do you think?
